Kangol 504 Flat Caps
The Kangol 504 is one of the world’s most recognisable flat caps. Its streamlined crown sits close to the head, while the short curved peak creates a clean profile that works with casual clothing, smart layers and contemporary streetwear.
Introduced in 1954, the cap takes its name from the numbered wooden block originally used to form its distinctive shape. Unlike panelled flat caps, the classic Wool 504 is knitted and blocked into a seamless crown, giving it the smooth silhouette closely associated with Kangol.
The embroidered Kangaroo logo appears at the centre back. The cap can be worn traditionally with the peak facing forwards or reversed to place the logo at the front—a look that became an important part of Kangol’s connection with music and street culture.
